Moving and tagging of new gained data

Prerequisite:

Step 1: Configuring the dropbox

(Just skip this step if you have already done this)

Open the Gnowsis configuration window...

... and click on the dropbox button.

Then fill out the two fields (folder- and intervall selection) and click the ok button. That's it.

Step 2: Using the dropbox

Save a resource (e.g. a webpage using "saveAs html only") into your DropBox folder and wait until the DropBox pops up.

If you didn't use the DropBox before there will probably be no proposals because the DropBox is a self-learning component. It will get better and better over the time you use it. Now there is no folder where we could move and tag to, so we will first add a folder. Then you can add a Tag (an existing one will be reused, a nonexisting one will be created). To relate tags to folders you can also use the PIMO Thing Editor GUI.

After naming the Tag, an adequate folder has to be chosen. If you entered all this, just click the OK button and see what happens: Gnowsis will do the links and the folder is now provided in the list of recommendet folders.

Now you have the possibility to add aditional tags to the resource. To du this, just enter the tag you want to add in the tag search field on the right of the "Add these additional Tags" component. The Gnowsis will be filterd to find already entered tags you probably want to use or you can create new tags within the same list.

Wrongly added Tags can easily be deleted using the red X on the right side of each tag. Then you hit the Move n' Tag button and the file will be moved to the chosen folder and related with the additional tags. If you open the Thing you tagged the resource to in your Pimo Thing Editor, you will see that it realy worked.

Next time you use the dropbox it will know more about this folder and can provide it to you as the resource seems to be somehow related. After a while when the dropbox learnd your main folders, the automatic proposal will work quite good.
